Drooping & Wilting
A droopy plant has lost turgor pressure in its stems and leaves. The fix depends on whether the soil is too wet or too dry.
Common causes
Thirsty (dry soil)
If the soil is dry and leaves are limp, water thoroughly — most plants perk back up within hours.
Overwatered (wet soil)
Wet soil plus drooping means roots are struggling to take up water. Let it dry out and check for rot before watering again.
Temperature shock
A cold draught or sudden heat can cause temporary wilting. Move the plant away from vents, radiators, and draughty windows.
